Langland Bay

Monday to Friday
8:45AM - 5PM
Saturday & Sunday
8:45AM - 6PM

Langland Bay is loved by the locals for soaking up the rare Welsh sun in the summer months but also by the surfing population of Wales in the winter months. Langland is one of the best surf beaches on the Gower Peninsula with several surf breaks. On magical days you may see the famous Crab Island break producing jaw-dropping tubes. You can regularly catch many renowned surfers showing off their skills when the surf pumps!

Langland Surfside has a different character from Caswell Surfside. Langland is a bustling cafe full of regulars, and walkers with their dogs and surfers alike, who stop in to refuel with a coffee and bacon roll beside the log burner before carrying on with their day.  It's a cosy cafe nestled amongst the pebbles with great views of the beach and surf!

A favourite with our four-legged friends, Langland is a dog-friendly cafe! dogs are welcome outside and inside but please keep them on their leads. Langland hosts our annual Dog Party which is fun for both owner and pooch!

Caswell Bay

Caswell Surfside Cafe is situated at the bottom of Caswell Valley with outstanding panoramic views of the long golden stretch of sand that is Caswell Bay. The bay at high tide appears to be a small cove rather than a beach but reveals its true size as the tide goes out. Caswell Bay is a hotspot for sun worshipers and surfers alike being one of the best surfing beaches on the Gower Peninsula.

The cafe sits just a few metres from the sand and has glass windows and doors to make the most of the fantastic views, whether you sit inside or out you can enjoy a view of the gorgeous beach. Warm up after a long stroll on the beach in our cosy cafe heated by a log burner which is on all winter. Our menu is the same all year round but look out for our Winter Warmers menu and specials as advertised!

Caswell Surfside made headlines in January 2014 when it was completely wrecked by one of the savage winter storms that pounded the Welsh coastline. After a significant refurbishment and modification, Caswell reopened a week before Easter in April. Nigel invested in some new sea defences for the cafe which continue to protect our beloved Caswell in the rough winter swells and high tides. Our destruction at Caswell attracts many visitors from all over the world to the beach after seeing photos of our cafe on BBC News. We would like to express our gratitude to the local community and our regular customers for their invaluable support last winter and welcome them back to laze by the fire and enjoy the surf with us this winter!!

Caswell Surfside is dog-friendly so feel free to bring in your dogs inside with you!

Rotherslade Bay

8:45AM - 8:30PM

Rotherslade Surfside is the newest addition to the Sufside family. Rotherslade is a popular eatery for locals who can enjoy our Surfside menu. Located on the coastal path Rotherslade boasts stunning views of both Rotherslade Bay and Langland Bay!

The cafe has a glass front facade and a large outside eating area which allow you to enjoy the lovely views from anywhere you sit. In the summer months, the glass doors are opened to make the most out of the sun. The contemporary decor and feature log burner provide a relaxing environment in which you can sit and watch the world go by. In the winter the cafe maintains regular opening hours which are 9:00 am til 5:30 pm, however, in the summer we make the most of the fine evenings and stay open til 8 pm. Rotherslade evenings always prove popular with families from the local area as a good value meal with stunning views!

Rotherslade does not welcome dogs inside however they are free to roam and play outside!
